"Burning cat punch" lol why was Snow so excited?! That was hilarious, I wasn't expecting him to get excited about something like that, especially because it came from a demon.

I'm surprised the Commander or Sol Adams didn't take out any of them once Naberius went back to normal, I honestly thought another fight was going to take place once they were all weakened but I guess he does have some "noble" ideals he follows.

Not that I'm complaining, I like Diana and Naberius and I'm glad they survived so at least there's a chance we'll get to see them more even if they go their separate ways after healing.

I also like how Marbas was like, I'm not letting you die because you keep me entertained throughout our immortal lives. These two can't just be honest and say they're glad they have each other lol.

Maverick • 1 year ago

lmao is he a chunibyo with the naming too? Honestly, Snow made made me cringe with the loud commentary that Wisteria prompted him to shut up, while she concentrates

SD • 1 year ago

Yeah that joke felt out of place and random.

wwlaos • 1 year ago

Burning Neko Punch! XD That was actually my favorite moment of the episode.

Maka Evans • 1 year ago

We might see Wisteria talking about it in the next episode and Marbas "dying" from embarrassment -don't know if I wrote it right-. They will travel together in the near future

Chindian • 1 year ago

no kaiju cat, my disappointment is immeasurable

my thoughts on the three-eyed demon, that usually means the power of foresight, probably saw the future of the young boy.
most likely the contract, unbeknownst to the knight, is that in exchange for the power of immortality and unlimited strength, the demon gets the souls of his followers when they die and their strength is added to the knight

Astolfo-kun • 1 year ago

Thought there was going to be a giant cat

LORD TEMPEST • 1 year ago

Me too.. what a disappointment

Fayt Leingod • 1 year ago

Maka Evans • 1 year ago

See, a hypocrite who made a pact with demon but hunt people who did the same as him....if anything, he needs to kill himself if pacting a demon wasnt tolerable as he said....

Maka Evans • 1 year ago

I think that rather than hypocrite he noticed something was wrong with him and started a force to stop all the demons from doing that to humans and hunting them down until he gains enough strength to fight the three-eyed one and destroys it, so his force is full of human with hate to the demons

Soon, those 6 people will have to make the biggest choice so far

Quendi • 1 year ago

Certainly wasn't a shocking surprise once we've seen him survive punches etc. that no normal human would otherwise survive. At that point it was clear he had a contract of sorts. The one thing i am wondering about is why his contract is so much different vs. that of Marbas and Naberius. Cause all the contracts we've seen so far had no effects on the contractor outside of being able to see demons now. Maybe it's because it was a "wish" rather then a contract?

Aiwaho • 1 year ago

The contract goes as followed: Human has a desire, human see demon or is around demon, demon simply minding his or her own business, human makes wish with a strong desire, demon chooses to grant the wish but a price must be paid for it.

Quendi • 1 year ago

I mean even then don't you think it's a bit weird. Like even Marbas and Naberius are confused with his whole situation and they're supposed to be part of the big dog/cat gang. You would think they would know about a three eyed demon right? But from their reaction it's completely unknown to them. And as they said in this episode even if that was the case there's no way a normal human would be able to pay the price. And lets not forget the whole thing about him being immortal and having limitless growth. Immortality alone is already pretty unlikely to be paid by a human if demons would even be capable of granting it that is...but on top of that limitless growth? But at the moment it just seems far to much like convenient bullshit to me. Even more so since it's Wisteria who noticed it while Marbas and Naberius had no clue what was going on with him.

Personally that commander is a bad plot device and the reason he is the way he is is because he needed to be immortal or close to immortal to even be an enemy. Both his character and story make no sense at this point. And he just happened to stroll across what could only be the strongest demon out there by pure coincidence.

Blazing Dragon Wolf • 1 year ago

The price might be that the three-eyed demon is living inside him and feeding off of something, idk. In exchange of granting him those two things (growth and immortality).

Quendi • 1 year ago

I mean could be since Wis at the very least "saw" something. But it still seems a bit weird to me and i don't think that's gonna change until they get into a bit more detail cause his story as it stands makes 0 sense. But personally the worst part about this episode is that none of the big bad demons present in this episode seems to have any knowledge whatsoever of this three eyed demon. You would think they at the very least would've heard about it if it's powerful enough to grant this type of wish.

Porthya • 1 year ago

When they released Astaroth last episode from that box she started yelling at him about trapping and "forcing [her] into a contract", so it was already confirmed.

Quendi • 1 year ago

Well Astaroth is not the one who granted him immortality though. And when the commander mentions the three eyed demon...from the looks in their faces none of the demons present(that are kinda supposed to be big shots in the demon world) seemed to have a freaking clue about a three eyed demon. You would think they would know about a demon that is capable of granting such a powerful wish.

Porthya • 1 year ago

I'm suspecting Astaroth is the extra, but she did state he forced her into a contract, that's why she was even fighting the guys instead of just up and leaving. So the point is that the Commander's hypocrisy regarding demon contracts was confirmed before the 3-eyed demon reference. That's what the original comment was about, right?

Quendi • 1 year ago

I mean yeh but the thing is at the time when Astaroth was let out of her cage the commander had already taken several blows from Naberius which i would say was already a pretty conclusive sign that the commander ain't a normal human. And as far as we as viewers are concerned there's only one way a human could attain such power in that world and that is via a demon.

Porthya • 1 year ago

I wasn't contradicting that idea at all, I was just pointing out that we knew for certain that the Commander had entered a contract or more since last episode, whether the demon in case turned out to be Astaroth or the three-eyed demon, followed by Astaroth, as it now seems.

Quendi • 1 year ago

I mean i don't think it was ever clearly stated that the commander himself is the one who've made/forced the contract with Astaroth. I mean it would make sense that he is seeing how he seems awfully perculiar in keeping his underlings safe while arguebly also sending them into a mansion he knows is guarded by Naberius so surely he wouldn't "sacrifice" someone to make a contract with Astaroth i guess? ^^

i sooo glad diana and doggy still alive 😊

What a great episode. Diana lives banzai banzai.

Iceknight Magna • 1 year ago

This guy talks about how demons are destined to be defeated at the hands of men, but he had gone on to become a veritable demon himself. Was that supposed to be profound? Because it's actually mocking. And now I'm supposed to believe the small trace of nobility he has --shown by his concern for the welfare of his men-- means what exactly? That he is not evil? Or that he's some necessary evil? Is that meant to be a joke?

But other than that, I'll have to admit one thing: the entire time I was watching the episode, I was on the edge of my seat. It was pretty good.

Aiwaho • 1 year ago

He's actually more noble in the manga

Nyih • 1 year ago

The ultimate hypocrite that guy is.

Düölingöhhh Snorlax • 1 year ago

1:13 They brought cannons!?!! They was gonna level the joint one way or another.
1:41 That sudden realization, you done Phucced Up!!! And Damn, wasn't expecting Kaiju Titan size.

9:00 Oof, Lol.
9:53 Had to be there when Naberius said it to Marbas, first.
20:15 OP Hypocrite, confirmed.

While I'm not a fan of Death swerves, like they did with Diana. In this case, it served a purpose to show the hypocritical nature of Sol Adams/Commander of the Knights of the Sword Cross. And, the no win scenario if they kill Diana.

While Diana may live in peace after this, what I feared about the siblings being found out has happened. No way Snow gonna have a easy time after this revelation. Wisteria should be safe.

But Snow, not so much.

Aiwaho • 1 year ago

the anime is a little different then in the manga as He is more noble in the manga then he is in Anime. As he was more ashamed that he was unable to win the battle and had to rely on the enemy to stop the destruction.

ramenmen • 1 year ago

No big Nyan Nyan, disappointed

Akanecchi • 1 year ago

I was waiting for Wis to tell Naberius what Marbas said about not letting him die and all. That part was so funny in the manga lol

Maka Evans • 1 year ago

Use the spoiler tag, please! Not everyone reads manga!!
I believe that part will be shown next episode

Akanecchi • 1 year ago

My bad! I do hope they show it tho.

Iced Up Dragon • 1 year ago

that bird lady is HOT does she want to make some birdies?

Maverick • 1 year ago

wo/man's bestfriend for life, Naberius is. despite breaking that limiter collar and losing sense of reason in process, he retained some (thanks to Diana still alive) to just even calmly snack on that knight captain. it's annoying he's even still alive like something out of a mad science experiment or occult ones (the knight)

ManicPandaz • 1 year ago

The way he popped when he got chomped was pretty funny tho lol

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Marbas transformation is amazing.

He doesn't age but he grew up from a kid to an adult, hmmm.

DesuYoda • 1 year ago

Kyubi Calamity Power!!!
That episode ended way better than I expected,
But who has the Bird Lady Calamity contract, if this dang hypocrite immortal contractor doesn't have it?
Is he a double contractor? That's just greedy...

i_like_trains • 1 year ago

And here I thought Marbas' normal form and human form were stupid looking, but boy did the Super Saiyan form take the cake.
